NEW GARY CROUCH PRINT DUE OUT SOON!

The primary focus of this print is the Eagle
Ford Shale
in south Texas. The central
art connotes the current play with an old
abandoned truck relating to the times in
the past, when further south, Spindletop
revolutionized the oil industry. The inset
corner map shows the current locations
(as of March 2012) of oil and gas wells.
The legend gives the well count for the
shale wells for oil, gas, and permitted.
Opposite corner map of Texas shows the
counties with fields developed in the
early 1900's. The text next to the map
gives the county, field and date
developed. The text next to the Eagle
Ford map gives the current 'regular
producing wells' by count in each county
where the shale plays are taking place.
The center art is bordered with early oil
cans and pump globes from the early
days. The tools along the top left show a
few tools used in 1900 compared to the
tools on the top right used today. The
border background behind the logos is
oil.
